Here is something you may or may not know....
St. Patricks Day officially became a Public Holiday in 1903. St. Patrick is / was a Patron Saint of Ireland. He was a CHRISTIAN Missionary who is credited for converting Ireland to Christianity in the 400's AD. And here is a little tidbit you may not know.... St. Patrick was not actually Irish! His actual birthplace is not known, but he is believed to have been born in Scotland around 375AD.
As a child he was kidnapped and sold into Slavery ( which lasted 6 years ), and sold to herd and tend Sheep.
